What a duct cleaning actually covers

Duct cleaning gets sold a hundred different ways, most of them vague. Here is exactly what we touch in your home and what drives the number you see.

Every supply register, pulled and cleaned

We take down each supply register, clean the vent face, and work the dust out of the boot behind it. These are the parts you can see, and they are usually the dirtiest. You will notice the difference the first time the system kicks on.

Trunk lines worked clean

The trunk lines are the big runs that feed every room, and they hold the dust you cannot reach with a vacuum. We agitate and pull the buildup out of the accessible runs so your system moves clean air instead of recirculating years of grit.

A count before a quote

Vent count drives the price, so we count your registers before we give you a number. A 10-vent home and a 15-vent home are real different jobs, and you should not pay for vents you do not have. The anchor is about $35 per vent plus a $100 base, and you see the full price before we start.

We will not sell you a sanitizer fogger or a "mold treatment" you do not need. If we open a run and find real moisture or mold, we will say so plainly and point you to a licensed HVAC pro, and you pay that pro directly with no markup from us. We clean what is there and prove it with photos.

Cleaning them means the system stops pushing that grit back into your rooms every cycle. We will not pretend it fixes allergies or air quality on its own, but you will see what came out in the photo report and decide for yourself.
A vent is the real unit of work here. Each supply register has to come down, get cleaned, and the boot behind it worked out, so a home with 15 vents is genuinely more labor than one with 10. Pricing on vents is the honest way to do it, and it is why we count before we quote instead of guessing from your square footage.
No. We do not run foggers or sell mold treatments you do not need, and the crew is not paid to upsell anything during a visit. We clean the registers and accessible trunk lines, and that is the job. If we see real moisture or mold, we will tell you plainly and refer you to a licensed HVAC pro.
Most homes run two to three hours depending on vent count and how the trunk lines are laid out. You are welcome to be home or not, since the work is room by room and the photo report goes to your phone either way. We will text you a confirmation within an hour of booking so you know we are set.
Then we do a short walk-through before setting a price. At 16-plus vents the trunk layout varies enough that a flat tier could shortchange you or us, so we look first and quote honestly. You will still see the full price before any work begins, with no add-ons after the fact.
Different system entirely. Dryer vent work clears the lint run from your dryer to the outside, which is a fire-safety job. Duct cleaning covers your HVAC supply registers and trunk lines, the air your whole home breathes. If you want both, you can book the dryer vent service separately and we will line them up.
